SMS Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in Aergo Appraisal's text messaging (SMS/MMS) program. By providing your mobile number to Aergo Appraisal or by opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

Aergo Appraisal ("we," "us," or "our") offers a text messaging program to help us schedule, confirm, and communicate with you about real estate appraisal services. Messages may include:

  • Appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling

  • Follow-up questions related to an active appraisal

  • Status updates on an active appraisal

  • Responses to inquiries you initiate

  • Other communications directly related to the appraisal service we are providing

Our messaging program is transactional and service-related. We do not use the program to send marketing or promotional content.

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from Aergo Appraisal by:

  • Providing your mobile number on a form on our website and indicating that you agree to be contacted by text;

  • Verbally or in writing authorizing us to text you regarding an appraisal; or

  • Having your lender, attorney, AMC, or other authorized party provide your mobile number to us for the purpose of scheduling and completing an appraisal.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Aergo Appraisal.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us and the status of your appraisal. You can generally expect messages only during an active engagement.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may be charged for each message sent or received, based on your plan. Aergo Appraisal does not charge you for participating in the program, but your carrier may.

5. Opt-Out (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive any additional text messages from us unless you opt in again. If you opt out, we may still need to contact you about your appraisal by phone or email.

The program is available on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy and Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information related to text messaging opt-in, consent, and the mobile phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose other than what is necessary to deliver the messaging service you have requested.

9. Eligibility

To participate in the SMS program, you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and the account holder of, or authorized user on, the mobile phone number you provide.

10. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when opting in. If your mobile number changes, please contact us so we can update your records. You agree to notify us if you no longer use a mobile number you previously provided.

11. Disclaimer

Aergo Appraisal makes no warranty regarding the delivery of any text message. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. We are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages, or for any charges imposed by your carrier.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
